KUKA processing cell goes Cloud

Since a couple of years, the KUKA stand is one of the greatest highlights for Hannover Fair visitors.

This year as well, KUKA impressed the large audience with its smart Industrie 4.0 live production. In this context, KUKA presented for the first time its startup connyun. The new startup, is located in Karlsruhe and was founded by KUKA in 2016. connyun is as a provider of an Industrie 4.0 platform as a service (PaaS) solution. The new cloud company unveiled its pioneering concept of an open cloud ecosystem for Industrie 4.0.

Visitors of the fair were especially convinced by this openness of the concept. Within the ecosystem of the connyun cloud not only production line owners feel comfortable. The same applies as well to system integrators, machine builders and component manufacturers. So, all parties involved can generate additional value utilizing strong synergy effects. Furthermore, the connyun cloud convinced with various connected machines, with a highly scalable big data and analytics architecture, as well as with an comprehensive network of partners.

Thanks to this solid presentation, connyun attracted a lot of top-class visitor from industry, research and politics. Among many others, we were especially happy to welcome Ilse Aigner, Bavarian minister of state, at our booth.
